On June 21, 2022, the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania together with Baltic Institute of Advanced Technology hosted a General Assembly of the international CYBER4DE project. The members of the consortium met in Vilnius to discuss the progress of the project, set next priorities, and assess the potential risks.
The General Assembly was opened by the Vice Minister of National Defence Margiris Abukevičius. He welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of the toolbox, which will help to ensure an effective response to cyber incidents in the future.
During the morning sessions a summary of the activities of the previous six months was presented to the members of the consortium, meeting participants discussed responsibility-sharing among enterprises and implementation of the shared responsibility packages. The second part of the meeting was for technical discussion.
CYBER4DE project unites partners from 7 European Union member states to develop the first in Europe new generation multifunctional cyber rapid response toolbox which is assessed to make a significant contribution to the strength of EU cyber defence capabilities. The project is funded by the European Union through the European Defence Industry Development Programme (EDIDP) and is coordinated by Lithuania.
